I’m from Brazil and this was my first visit to DC. Me and couple friends went there for the day and it was absolutely amazing. This city is so pretty, welcoming and light. I laid in the mud along the shoreline of the marsh just as the sun was rising. This Snowy Egret made its way right in front of the sun for a nice silhouette as it stalked the shallows in search of food.
